I too was paranoid as hell when I got the blower put on the B16. To be honest I didn't notice the valve ticking at all UNTIL I got the blower out on...talk about being paranoid.
You should be able to hear the valves when the car is sitting there idling. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have the valves adjusted.

That is a great description. If you haven't had your valves adjusted in the past 15K, or so, miles. . . then you probably should. It's even more important if you drive at higher rpm's a lot.

Yep, I used to have that problem when I first got my blower installed and it eventually went away. Don't know what that's all about, but there are a couple people on here that have had the same thing happen. THere was a post on it a while back.
